This article is for the non-passport holders, the expired passport holders, the passport holders who have to wait 8-16 weeks due to the demand for passports. Breathe, there are several amazing destinations that offer a unique and "worlds away" experience without requiring a U.S. passport. Here are some options:

1. Puerto Rico, USA: Although part of the United States, Puerto Rico feels like a different world with its rich culture, beautiful beaches, vibrant cities, and lush rainforests. No passport is needed for U.S. citizens to visit.

2. U.S. Virgin Islands, USA: Another U.S. territory, the U.S. Virgin Islands include St. Thomas, St. John, and St. Croix. These islands offer stunning beaches, snorkeling, and a relaxed Caribbean vibe. While you're here you should island hop between these 3 amazing islands...the adventure awaits!

3. Hawaii, USA: Hawaii is a tropical paradise with its unique blend of Polynesian culture, volcanic landscapes, and beautiful beaches. It's a part of the United States, so no passport is required for U.S. citizens.

4. Bermuda: Known for its pink sand beaches, Bermuda is a British Overseas Territory located in the North Atlantic. The island offers a mix of British and Caribbean influences.

5. Guam, USA: This Pacific island is a U.S. territory and offers a mix of cultures, stunning beaches, and unique Chamorro heritage. Guam is the leading consumer of Spam meat-no worries, there are plenty of culinary delights for your palate to enjoy.

6. American Samoa, USA: Another U.S. territory in the Pacific, American Samoa offers a chance to explore Polynesian culture and stunning landscapes.

7. Northern Mariana Islands, USA: These islands are a U.S. Commonwealth and offer a mix of Micronesian, Spanish, and Asian influences.

8. Alaska, USA: If you're looking for a wild, remote adventure, Alaska provides breathtaking natural beauty, wildlife, and unique indigenous cultures. Alaska was definitely a dream trip for my family, we enjoyed every breathtaking moment.

9. Florida Keys, USA: The Florida Keys offer a tropical escape with a laid-back atmosphere, beautiful coral reefs, and a unique blend of Caribbean and American culture. Did you know there are 800 keys that stretch over 180 miles? There are 42 bridges that connect all the Florida Keys islands. Also, Key West is the southernmost city in the continental U S and is closer to Havana, Cuba than to Miami, FL. Ready, Cuba is only 90 miles away from Key West. Let the adventure begin.

10. Cook Islands: Located in the South Pacific, the Cook Islands are a self-governing territory of New Zealand. They offer pristine beaches, turquoise waters, and a relaxed Polynesian vibe.

11. Palau: This Micronesian paradise is known for its stunning diving sites, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant marine life.

12. Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands: Part of the Northern Mariana Islands, Saipan offers beautiful beaches, historical sites, and a mix of cultures.

Remember that travel restrictions and entry requirements can change, so it's essential to check the latest information before planning your trip. Additionally, while these destinations may not require a U.S. passport, they might require other forms of identification, such as an Enhanced Driver's License (EDL) or a U.S. passport card.
